A Bootswatch website contains instruction on skinning pages and a number of skins to use.
The real problem is coming to grips with all the customization options and creating a coherent design
RWSKINZ DEMO WEB SITE
Incorporated into this website is the official RWSkinz Demo Website by Will Woodgate on how to individualize pages, and it also shows off his Bootiful and Specialty stacks. The link is also included in the navigation. Included are my favorites, a demo of Zonal and Intrinsic stacks.
HERO AKA JUMBOTRON, BANNER CUSTOMIZATION
A new banner can be created by dragging an image into the Banner image well of the General Settings. The recommended size is 2000x1000, although the one I used is 2000x1333
Padding is set by default to 8 REMS to make the banner a reasonable height but can be reduced or enlarged
Use Fixed Background Image setting, if desired. Although it stretches the image
Use Full Height Jumbotron to fill the browser window with the image with an arrow activating the next page
Add the Site name, description and Logo to overlay the banner if desired
EXTRACONTENT CONTAINERS AND MANY FONT CHOICES
The RWSkinz theme has one hundred Extra Content containers.
Almost 100 font choices for various elements are available. I used a Georgia font for everything.
FOOTER CUSTOMIZATION
Can have no footer, minimized or block. Block has limited styling
SIDEBAR CUSTOMIZATION
Add the Doobox Teleporter Stack a partial to have customized content in Sidebar Title and Content areas. I used IDs of x x 1 and x x 2 (name whatever you want) to positionr stack content
MISC ITEMS
Save Theme Style Settings to easily retrieve configurations
Create any of about 50 body background designs with color fill
Create self-generated skin
