As far as I can tell the good Gallery Stacks are the following. Shutter is fairly easy to set up and has lots of features, but is tricky. Will's Pro-Gallery has a complete set of Image layouts and lightboxes.. Some desireable features are loading slideshows from an offsite folder and the ability to download from the gallery.

- Shutter requires a Batch folder, and galleries underneath. thumbnail folders are underneath that with "-thumb" after file names. Shutter also has all kinds of features like downloading and zooming in on pictures.
- Alloy has a Droplet feature that lets users change photo
