The Form stack is a very simple version of a contact form. It is superb for building contact pages for your visitors to get in touch with you. If you require a more robust form, for more than a simple contact sort of page, we encourage you to check out the Potion Pack of addons for Foundry, as it includes a much more complex form stack.

Your Email
This section is for adding the email address to which you wish the results of the form to be delivered. This allows the stack to know where to send the information that your site’s visitors have supplied.

This section provides fields for label names, placeholder and error text. The label is the text that will be seen next to the input field. The placeholder is the text that will be seen inside the field, greyed out, before the visitor enters their information in a field, and the error is what will be seen if they submit the form without having filled out that field.

The Human Test also has a field in which you supply the answer to your Human Test.

Human Test
The Form stack has a very simple test to guard against the simplest of spam bots on the web. It allows you to add a question to your form, along with providing the answer. If the correct answer is not provided when the form is submitted, the form will simply not be sent.

Check For Visitor Consent
Some countries require your visitor to consent to how their personal information will be handled or used once submitted via a form. Enabling this feature allows you to present the visitor with a checkbox they must enable in order for the form to be sent. The form will not be submitted unless the visitor check this box if you have the Consent feature enabled.

This section also allows you to customize the message presented to the visitor as well as an option to include a link to your site’s privacy and data handling policies.

Success Message
This is the text that will be displayed to your visitor when the form has been successfully submitted.

Error Message
Just the opposite of the Success Message. This text will be presented to your visitor, along with the field specific error messages, if the form failed to be sent. This will let them know what to correct and allow them to then re-submit the form.

Send Button
Set the text that will be shown on the form button that your visitors will use to submit the form.

Button Style
Set the color of the Submit Button to match your site using one of Foundry’s color swatch presets or make use of custom color pickers. You can also opt for a gradient background which will allow you to use a series of custom color pickers to design your own gradient.

Button Size
Choose the size of the Submit button for your form. Choose from Small, Standard or Large.

Button Alignment
Allows you to set the justification of the Submit button. Align it either to the Left or Right side of the form.

Block Button
Enable to make the Submit button span the entire width of the form. The button’s width is flexible when enabled and will size down to fit the available space.

When enabled the custom styling option allows you to adjust the color of many of the Form stack's elements. You can adjust the following items' colors:

When enabled the Form stack will include some predetermined icons to the contact form's input fields.

Send Using Your Email Address
Some web hosts require this to be enabled in order for an email to be sent from a form. The email will be sent from the form using your email address, but the Reply To email address will still be that of your visitor so that you can reply to their email.

When using this feature the email address in the Form stack's settings labeled Your Email must be an email that has the same domain name as your website.
